Excellent haddock & chips tonight. Thought about getting a large fish but unless you're Hank Marvin there's absolutely no need as medium fish was overlapping the sides of the plate. Fish was meaty but soft and tasty and batter crispy as it should be. Absolutely nailed the chips which were the best we've ever had from a chippy - crispy on the outside soft & fluffy inside. Lashings of salt & vinegar to season. Mmmmm.

Great value and good quality. No wonder it's been awarded a winner for best chip shop by the Ripon Gazette. Had various deals for multiple fish and chips as well as kids options. Little teds deal provided 3 small haddock, 2 chips and peas, beans or curry for £7.99 - plenty for three children (under 10). Opening time is a little variable, being between 16:00-16:15. Would definately recommend this chip shop.
